Great Explorations: The Children's Museum was first constructed in 1986 by The Junior League of St. Petersburg and Hands-On, Inc. Great Explorations has several fun and interactive exhibits. "I Can Construct" kids run through one of the most elaborate tree houses in Florida, and offer kids the chance to use the work bench. Camps, summer schools and field trips are great ways to introduce children to the wonders of science, and how they could one day grow into one.
