It has an annual budget of about $6.9 billion. Visitors are welcome to do research and take of advantage of the many discoveries the NSF has to offer. The NSF is located in the heart of Ballston where many banks, shopping areas are nearby and the metro is within walking distance. Parking is available for $11 a day underneath the NSF building or more inexpensive at the Ballston Common Mall.
