The Division of Child & Family Services, also known as DCFS, is operated by the government of the State of Utah. The division specializes in family and treatment foster care services. It offers a variety of placement options and residential care services. The division focuses on the assessment of children s needs. The Division of Child & Family Services in in partnership with the Utah Foster Care Foundation administers the Behavior Replacement Model training program. The State of Utah also operates the Division of Substance Abuse & Mental Health and Division of Aging and Adult Services. The state s Division of Youth Corrections conducts aftercare programs and risk assessments.
