Originally from India, Dr. Santosh Uppu has been practicing medicine in the U.S. since 2005. He cares for patients of all ages and tailors each treatment plan based on each person’s lifestyle and condition. Dr. Uppu is committed and invested to his patients and makes himself available by email or phone. He also works as a team with other medical professionals to ensure his patients have access to comprehensive and coordinated care. Dr. Uppu is board certified and fellowship-trained in pediatric cardiology and has advanced training in congenital cardiac imaging which includes MRIs and fetal echocardiography. During this time at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, he lead the congenital cardiac MRI program in New York. He has also received numerous awards and recognition for his research and contribution to health care. In his spare time, Dr. Uppu enjoy reading fiction and nonfiction books, listening to National Public Radio, spending time with family and enjoying nature.
