Lucie Moulton, Executive Chef and Owner founded The Gourmet Goddess in April of 2005. Having cooked as a private chef on yachts all over the world, the change to a land based business was a sure welcome. Transitioning back to land has proved to be her best recipe for success yet as the demand for personal chefs soars in the New England area. The idea for The Gourmet Goddess was formed in the galley of a large motor yacht as the demand for traveling increased. Although adventurous at heart, life on the road proved to be as tiring as the rock stars make it out to be. Ready and willing to let her luggage get dusty, she contemplated the idea of continuing to enjoy the freedom in which her position allowed without the view of tropical islands as a backdrop. For the next year as The Gourmet Goddess made its seed in both Lucie's mind and heart, she questioned the marketplace and discovered quite a niche in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
