The Lower Saucon Township Police Department preserves public peace and order, protects life and property and enforces laws. The department maintains a team of more than 15 full-time police officers, over five part-time police officers and civilian support staff that serve approximately 9,800 citizens. Its facilities include administrative offices, interview and locker rooms, holding cells, weight training and cardiovascular areas and a restricted parking compound. The department conducts safety and crime prevention educational activities and community relations programs, as well as provides assistance to the public. The Lower Saucon Township Police Department has been operational for more than 75 years and is located in Bethlehem, Pa.
