Douglas County Fire District No.2, established in 1992, serves the urban and rural areas in Green, Wilbur, Umpqua, Roseburg, Melrose, Winchester and Dixonville, Ore. It undertakes emergency access provisions, hazardous material regulation compliance, as well as special event, property, and fire and life safety inspections. The fire district offers several public fire safety education programs, as well as conducts fire drills and presentations.
