La Calaca Comelona was created with one thing in mind to be able to represent accurately what traditional Mexican cuisine is and should be like. When I Patricia Cabrera moved to the U.S. it was always sad and frustrating to go and try to eat Mexican food. Unfortunately there is not a lot of good authentic Mexican restaurants out there, so i decided to gather all my savings and open La Calaca Comelona. And embarked on the adventure of trying to open people to the wonders and flavors of the Mexican cuisine and all it has to offer, from the most basic to the more elaborate
