Founded in 1885, the Boys & Girls Aid Society of Oregon providing programs for children, youth and families. The organization is located in Portland, Ore., and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services, Child Welfare League of America and the National Association of Social Workers. It provides a wide range of services that include prevention, mentoring, adoption and foster parenting services. Its prevention services is designed to assist children in crisis and aimed at children living in high-risk neighborhoods.
