Established in 1967, the Enderlin Historical Society and Museum has undergone several location changes in its quest for a permanent home. After acquiring the Fingal depot in 1971, which was later sold due to vandalism, the society purchased the Masonic Temple building in 1990 and converted it into a museum. In 2008, the society became the proud owners of the land and building. With a focus on planning for the future, the museum has established an Endowment Fund through the North Dakota Community Foundation to ensure its continued success and provide a permanent source of income.
