When Marymount College closed, Sister Bianca Haglich had to find a new home for the weaving center she had run since 1977. This former gym at the rear of the convent hosts the non-profit center that boasts 22 looms and walls of natural fibers. Haglich teaches in various workshops, private tutorials and looms, which can be rented by the month. A small selection of shawls, table runners or baby blankets can be purchased from the display case up front or annually at the December craft fair.
