Located in Middletown, N.Y., the Department of Public Works regulates and inspects construction projects in and around Middletown. It is a part of the city s municipal departments. The department s responsibilities include maintaining city streets and performing sanitation pickups. Its duties include snow plowing, paving and the maintenance of traffic lights. The Department of Public Works also runs day-to-day water and sewer treatment plant operations.
