History
Inspired by a love of children, and a belief that childhood should be a journey and not a race, a school teacher set out in 1959 to realize a dream. With limited resources and funding, she opened what would become known as the Lollipop Day Nursery School and Day Camp. This family-owned and operated preschool has since passed into the hands of the founder's son, James Angelillo, his wife Kara, and his daughter Lorraine. They continue to carry forth the tradition begun by his school teacher-mother over fifty years ago. They now cater to the second and third generation of many families.
