The Franklin Lakes Library provides a comfortable and accessible setting for people to enjoy reading and learning. Part of the Bergen County Library System (BCCLS), it features an online catalog and even library card applications. With over 110,000 books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and other types of items in the Franklin Lakes Library, there's something for everyone. Customers also have access to the entire BCCLS collection.
The library offers numerous programs for kids and teens, including The Advisory Council for the Community by Teens (ACCT), which does community service and features fun get-togethers. There's also Paws for Reading, a program offering kids in Grades 1 through 6 a chance to improve reading and public speaking skills while making friends with certified therapy dogs.
