From the website:Dr. Suma Chand treats adult patients with psychiatric disorders depression, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, phobias, insomnia, and other conditions. She is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive behavior therapy CBT , a treatment clinically demonstrated to be an effective form of psychotherapy. She conducts individual CBT sessions, as well as group sessions for patients with depression. Patients gain symptom relief, while learning skills to deal with real-life challenges. Dr. Chand is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she is director of the CBT program mdash a regional clinic of the National Social Anxiety Center.
