Minnesota West Community and Technical College
Formed in 1997, Minnesota West Information Center is a technical college located in Worthington, Minn. It offers degree programs in accounting, business administration, business education, computer science, elementary education, law enforcement, mass communciations, physical education, political science, English, geography, health, history, social work, sociology and philosophy. It also offers professional degrees in agriculture production management, business management, fish and wildlife management, pre-airway science, pre-physical therapy, pre-pharmacy, pre-dentistry, pre-engineering, human services and registered nurse. It is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. The center also provides disability services, library, book store, safety and security, child care, financial aid, housing, scholarships, and liberal arts and sciences programs. It also offers sports activities, including flag football, bowling, tug-a-war, ice fishing tournament, volleyball and golf.
