Ealy Elementary School is one of six elementary schools in the West Bloomfield School District and one of 12 schools all together.
Principal Roderick MacNeal, Jr. leads a diverse community at Ealy, where students come from 21 different countries and speak 19 different languages to multi-classrooms where grades four and five and two and three connected in the 2009–10 school year to raise MEAP scores significantly.
Ealy's technology includes MacBooks and Flip Video cameras. The staff takes part in Professional Learning Communities in order to work closely together to improve student achievement. Last year, Ealy took third place nationally in math pentathlon and every Friday, the entire school gathers in the gym to celebrate student learning and to sing.
