HistorySpence Brothers was founded in 1893 when brothers Hugh and Matt Spence began rebuilding the east side of Saginaw, Michigan after a devastating fire. The founders and their sons were dedicated to growing the business and earning the trust of every customer. The family business survived during the depression years by building government Post Offices throughout the eastern United States.
