The transfer and recycling center is run by the town of Barnstable. This center recycles nearly 40 percent of materials deposited.
Solid Waste Division Mission provides town residents an affordable, environmentally sound way to dispose of waste and recycle materials. This division at the transfer station tries to provide services to encourage residents recycle and reuse unwanted items including a donation drop off, Swap Shop and paint recycling program.
