This 25-acre burial ground is accessible from Hope Street and the Colt State park entrance on Asylum Road. Founded in the 1800s, the grounds are overseen by the town of Bristol and maintained by Superintendant Enzly Ramsay. The cremation garden is a recent addition to the grounds, allowing families the option of cremation burial for their loved ones. The garden is built around a pond in the historical area of the burial ground, visible from Asylum Road. A large veterans' memorial is also visible from Hope Street
