Candleberry Chapel was founded in 2005 by Reverend Kenneth Boyle, an Attleboro resident and ordained minister for more than 50 years. Candleberry Chapel is unique in that it is non-denominational and a church without politics. In 2005 when Rev. Boyle was semi-retiring he decided to convert an old carriage house located on his property into a chapel. His decision to convert the old house came from God, he says. Rev. Boyle has officiated thousands of weddings and continues to do so at the chapel. The chapel, which overlooks a serene pond, has been host to benefit events and autism retreats and is also available for small events such as showers, birthday parties and meetings.
