First Baptist Church, located across from the Attleboro commuter rail station, is a founding member of the Attleboro Area Council of Churches. It is supportive of several missions and remains immersed in the community.
Members of the church's congregation volunteer their time for local efforts including Habitat for Humanity, Food 'N Friends Kitchens, Self Help Food Pantry and local Crop Walk for Hunger. The church's first missionary group Missions Circle, formed in 1905, continues to make handmade crafts to help missionaries in the Attleboro area and overseas.
