Located in Brooklandville, Md., St. Paul's School for Girls is an independent, church-affiliated day school that serves more than 400 students in grades five through 12 and was founded in 1959. Its academic curriculum includes English, history, science, mathematics, fine arts, world languages, religious studies, and physical and health education. The school offers a variety of athletic activities, including soccer, basketball, swimming, field hockey, tennis, volleyball, cross country, squash, badminton, softball, lacrosse and golf. It provides a wide variety of facilities, such classrooms, laboratories, a full-service cafeteria, computerized library, theater, gymnasium, chapel, fitness center, locker rooms, dance studio, athletic fields, tennis courts and alumnae center. The school is approved by the Association of Independent Maryland Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
