Life wasn't easy after her release, but when she got back on her feet, she made it her mission to improve other previously imprisoned individuals' lives. With the help of community donors, Maryam sells quality clothing at great prices and even runs a decarceration program for formerly incarcerated individuals. Inspired by the women who helped Maryam in and out of prison, SisterHearts aims to be a safe haven for everyone. We host special events to support inclusion and diversity every month -- all of which encourage a strong sense of compassion and openness.
