Buckhorn Children and Family Services, founded in 1902, is a nonprofit agency that provides psychiatric residential treatment, foster care and adoption, independent living for young adults and other services for oppressed children and families in Kentucky and Ohio. The organization offers a variety of programs that include family preservation, supervised apartment living, supportive and transitional living and residential treatment. Buckhorn Children and Family Services is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and is a member of the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies, the Children's Alliance of Kentucky and the Child Welfare League of America.
