Agriculture's Clean Water Alliance (ACWA) is a collaborative organization consisting of agricultural retailers and supporters in Iowa, dedicated to enhancing water quality throughout the state. ACWA members are committed to assisting farmers in achieving optimal crop yield and profitability, while implementing environmentally-friendly practices to preserve and safeguard Iowa's water and soil.
Managed by ACWA, the North Raccoon Farm to River Partnership is a three-year project supported by the Iowa Soybean Association and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. This initiative aims to install various conservation practices, including bioreactors, saturated buffers, wetlands, and cover crops, in targeted watersheds across Sac, Calhoun, Carroll, and Greene Counties, aligning with the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy.
