Established in 1965, Community Action of Southern Indiana provides community outreach, transportation, case management services. The organization conducts a range of programs, such as head start, learning blocks, energy assistance program (EAP) and weatherization assistance program (WAP).Its curriculum includes math, science, literacy, language development and creative arts/music. Community Action of Southern Indiana's head start program provides services in locations, including the Charlestown, Sellersburg, Jeffersonville and Underwood. It also offers child care service, human resource, employment consultation and social services.
