Regina Dominican High School, established in 1958, is a Catholic college preparatory school for young women. Located in Wilmette, Ill., the school is sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters. Its curriculum includes English, French, Spanish, math, science, theology, economics, history, political science, music, art, computer technology and physical education. The school offers various activities, such as math league, Spanish and French honor societies, spring plays, chess club and field trips. It provides various sports activities including cross-country, swimming, tennis, volleyball, cheer squads, golf, basketball, lacrosse, softball, soccer, and track and field. It also offers personal and academic counseling, and worship and liturgical prayer services. It has a media center for art and music research. It additionally provides library and computer laboratory facilities and cafeteria service for its students. The school is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School.
