Bolingbrook Police Department

The mission of the Bolingbrook Police Department is to work in partnership with the community to prevent, reduce and deter crime. The department s crime prevention unit provides school programs, such as Stranger Danger, bicycle safety, McGruff the Crime Dog, safety patrol and Officer Friendly; and a Neighborhood Watch program that encompasses approximately 100 groups and 2,200 homes. The Bolingbrook Police Department, in addition to its staff of full-time police officers, is complimented by an all- volunteer unit of reserve officers who provide assistance to full-time officers when needed.
