Established in 1978, Asian Human Services offers a range of social programs for low-income and at-risk people around the world. It provides services in more than 25 languages and is headquartered in Chicago. The agency s mental health program includes counseling, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation and psychiatric services. Its family health center provides primary care services to immigrants, refugees and medically underserved residents of Chicago. The agency s charter school offers academic programs for students from prekindergarten through grade five. The agency also provides bilingual support groups for single mothers and domestic violence victims. Additionally, Asian Human Services conducts annual health fairs that provide health screenings, immunizations and physician referrals.
