Based in Opelika, Ala., East Alabama Mental Health Center is a public nonprofit corporation established in 1967. It provides a continuum of mental and behavioral health services. The center offers its services for persons with a serious emotional disturbance, developmental delay, mental illness, mental retardation, and substance abuse problem.
