Crop and Soil Sciences Department of the University of Georgia, provides baccalaureate and graduate education in crop, soil and environmental sciences. The department has its college experiment station at Athens, Ga., and offers several majors at undergraduate level, including turfgrass management, water and soil resources, environmental chemistry, applied biotechnology, and agriscience and environmental services. Crop and Soil Sciences Department also offers a master of science and doctor of philosophy degree in agronomy. Additionally, it offers a nonthesis master of crop and soil sciences degree and an interdepartmental master of plant protection and pest management. The department also runs several undergraduate clubs, such as agronomy club, soil judging team, turf club and order agronomy club peanuts. Crop and Soil Sciences Department has three campuses located in Georgia in Athens, Tifton and Griffin.
