The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy offers a variety of academic and cocurricular programs to students. Founded in 1903, the department is a part of the University of Georgia. It has an enrollment of more than 500 students in various professional, graduate and postgraduate programs. Its educational programs include a doctorate in pharmacy, nontraditional pharmacy pathway programs, and postdoctoral and residency programs. It has specialized divisions, such as a clinical and administrative pharmacy, business office, and pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences and public relations departments. Additionally, it has a continuing education and outreach service division. The university s department is approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. It is located in Athens, Ga.
