Homeless Helping Homeless, Inc. (HHH) is a 501(c)(3) homeless housing provider based in Tampa, FL since 2009. As one of only 14 peer-run crisis organizations in the United States, HHH offers a unique and self-sustaining model to address the multi-billion dollar crisis of homelessness. Their evidence-based system starts with providing emergency housing, followed by transitional housing where individuals can undergo therapy, counseling, and job training. The final step is permanent housing, where tenants receive a lease to affordable housing provided by HHH, ensuring they are officially homeless no more.
Through social enterprises, HHH clients generate the funds necessary to house themselves and each other. However, the lack of housing remains a significant barrier preventing HHH from helping more clients. Their goal is to raise funds to acquire more housing, allowing them to continue renewing and revitalizing the lives of those in underserved homeless communities. With a mission to provide permanent housing for the homeless who lack money or employment, HHH envisions a world in which people are homeless no more.
