Its tutoring program provides academic services to students in grades 1 through 12 from low- and moderate-income families. West End Neighborhood House offers individualized tutoring, homework assistance and computerized instruction services. It provides budgeting, employment, job training and child care services. The organization partners with the Delaware Department of Education, Female Benevolent Society and Wilmington Flower Market.

Founded in 1927, Neighborhood House Inc. is a multi-purpose community center. Located in Wilmington, Del., it offers various programs and services, such as the family, youth development, weatherization, crisis relief as well as housing. Neighborhood House Inc. is a United Way member agency and also a national mission institution of global ministries, The United Methodist Church. It is a recipient of the 2009 Home Free-USA President's Award for its achievement in housing counseling.
