History
The Marysville Gold Sox baseball club has thrilled and entertained the Yuba-Sutter Community since 2003. Each summer the Gold Sox play 44 home games between late May and early August at Appeal Democrat Park in Marysville, California. In addition to the baseball, the fans are entertained with fireworks shows, celebrities including, Bill Buckner and Urijah Faber and entertaining acts including the San Diego Chicken. The club has been a stepping stone in the carrers of over 60 professional players including major leaguers, Dallas Braden, Tommy Everidge and Anhtony Bass. Over the years players such as Cubs pitcher Matt Garza, former Heisman Tropy runner up Toby Gerhart, Texas Rangers pitcher Scoot Feldman and Astros pitcher Bud Norris have taken the field against the Gold Sox. Fans young and old enjoy the American past time with the Marysville Gold Sox.

The Marysville Gold Sox is a professional-grade community baseball team, whose roster is stocked with top-quality collegiate players. The Gold Sox play 44 home games each summer at Appeal-Democrat Park in Marysville, California as the host team for the Horizon Air Summer Series. The Horizon Air Summer Series is a unique eleven week competition among elite teams from the Western United States comprised of today's best college baseball players.
