About Stone's Cyclery Harry Stone established Stone's Cycle and Toyshop in 1943, in the city of Alameda, California. But it wasn't until 1963 that Dennis Stone took over his father's business and gave it the name "Stone's Cyclery." Dennis' passion for cycling and craftsmanship began with his first custom bicycle, a Raleigh Clubman in metallic blue with chrome tips and a Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub, which still hangs in the shop's rafters today. His long lasting relations with Waterford and Bob Jackson Cycles are the result of years of dedication he's given in finding the best quality, and design he can offer to the cycling community.
