History

Local environmentalists joined together to lessen needless waste, diverting used wheelchairs, walkers and other durable medical equipment from the landfill and into the homes of low income seniors.

ReCARES is the only non profit in the Bay Area that collects no longer needed medical equipment and supplies and redistributes these to those in need in our community
