The Pleasanton Library is on the northeast corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue with Old Bernal Avenue/Case Avenue. The mission of the library is to inspire, inform and enrich the Pleasanton community. It houses hundreds of books, DVDs and audio books; the library staff is happy to help with recommendations. It contains a large children's area and story room, a teen area, public access computers and free wireless Internet access. Programs offered to the public include the language, music and other adult education classes, children's and teens' programs, toddler story time and book clubs for all ages.
