For the first two weeks of business, owning no cell phones and having no established phone number, its employees conducted their business from phone booths and met at their homes to go over the day's business. It wasn't long before the company comprised an 800 square foot office filled with used office furniture and was placing ads in area papers looking for employees. A logo was designed, stationary was printed and Morton & Pitalo, Inc. was in business! After 7 months the company was solvent, where it has been ever since.
