The El Cerrito Chinese Christian Church traces its history to its first service in 1980. It provides worship in Chinese and English. Led by Pastor Paul Huang, the congregation reflects a diversity of Chinese backgrounds from across the Chinese mainland and Taiwan. It defines its mission as "Love God, Lock arms, and Light up the world (LLL)." It also hosts a Chinese school on Saturdays. It formerly shared a church builing with Trinity Evangelical Free Church and moved to its current home on Stockon Avenue after it was vacated in October 2011 by the El Cerrito United Methodist Church.
