The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, also known as CAL FIRE, offers a range of emergency response services. It provides fire protection solutions for more than 30 million acres of California's privately-owned wild lands. The department maintains a fleet of ladder trucks, bulldozers, fire engines and aircraft systems.
