The Albany Library is part of the Alameda County Library system, and has been housed at its current location since 1994. The 15,000-square-foot building stands on the site of the old city hospital and serves more than 523,000 people in Albany, Dublin, Fremont, Newark, Union City and the unincorporated areas of Castro Valley and San Lorenzo.
The library is spacious and warm, filled with skylights and children's art throughout. Stop by to find a book or three, and take a look at the Albany Library Blog to find out about upcoming events and news.
