Assistive Technology of Alaska (ATLA) connects Alaskans who have disabilities with the tools they need to learn, work, play and participate in community life. It is the implementor of the federal Assistive Technology Tech Act Project and provides services and activities for Alaskans of all age. The firm works in collaboration with the Alaska Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Independent Living Centers, schools, organizations, businesses and other entities around the state. Assistive Technology of Alaska offers awareness activities, demonstrations, funding options, information and assistance, reuse/recycling, resources, technical assistance and training, among others.
