The Northwest Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services, also known as NWBOCES, serves more than 15 school districts in Fremont, Hot Springs, Park, Washakie, Big Horn and Converse counties in Wyoming. Founded in 1970, the board provides cooperative services to educational and human services agencies. It operates the Big Horn Basin Children's Center, which offers residential educational placement solutions for youths between the ages of 6 and 14. The Northwest Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services center also administers transitional programs, as well as provides therapeutic, life skills development and case management solutions. The board offers training and consulting services. It is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
