Jackson Lake Lodge, fashioned after the Amoretti Inn from 1922, officially opened on June 11, 1955, with its original purpose of catering to the increasing number of visitors coming to see the spectacular scenery of the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks. This full-service destination attracts more than 2 million visitors annually and is operated by the Grand Teton Lodge Company and owned by Vail Resorts. Jackson Lake Lodge has been host to numerous dignitaries as well as high-profile conferences. Perched on a bluff overlooking Jackson Lake with the Grand Teton Mountains as a backdrop, Jackson Lake Lodge offers more than 350 guestrooms, suites and cottages. Dining establishments at the lodge include The Mural Dining Room, Pioneer Grill, Blue Heron Lounge and Pool Grill and BBQ. With a mission to preserve, protect and inspire, Grand Teton Lodge Company is the concessionaire in Grand Teton National Park operating the lodging, restaurants, tours and activities at Jackson Lake Lodge, Jenny Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Village.
