Rich in history, Jackson Hole’s first chuck wagon adventure, the Bar T-5 began in 1974 by giving people a chance to step back and experience a time gone by, a time when they traveled by horse drawn covered wagons. Now you can join us at the Bar T-5 and make your own Western History. Climb aboard a horse drawn covered wagon just as they did in the early days of Jackson Hole for an adventure unlike any other. You’ll experience an evening filled with great Western Hospitality.Traveling along a clear mountain stream, you’ll follow a winding trail into the tall timber of the Bridger-Teton National Forest to a camp in the heart of the canyon. Watch out there may be surprises along the way, after all this is the West! Arriving at camp the wagons are circled and the aroma of a Cowboy style Dutch oven dinner greets you. Enjoy our home cooked BBQ Chicken, Roast Beef in Gravy, our famous Bar T 5 Beans and more. After dinner you can sit back and relax to the sounds of music and laughter as our cowboys take the stage. Enjoy the harmony of The Bar T 5 Band bringing your favorite cowboy songs to life! With Guitars, Fiddles and Fun for all, you’ll find yourself joining in throughout the night. The evening ends as the wagons head home from a place and time you’ll never forget.....The Bar T-5 Covered Wagon Cookout & Show. We are close by, located just 1 ½ miles SE of downtown Jackson. The wagons are ready to roll evenings, Monday through Saturday, mid-May through the end of September. The evening lasts about 3 hours. At camp you are under a covered pavilion that is heated if necessary. Reservations are requested. To find out more about how to join us and make your own Western History please give us a call.
