Your Gold Sold is operated by the Howard Academy for the Metal Arts located in Stoughton, Wisconsin. The Academy is operated by headmaster William L. Howard, master goldsmith Missy Howard, blacksmith Aaron Howard, master silversmith Glenn Prescott and other part time and guest experts for the purpose of furthering techniques in the metal arts field. Goldsmiths and jewelers from all over the world have trained at HAMA and have won awards for their work in regional, national and international competition. The Academy is the place where goldsmiths and jewelers go to learn their trade. The Howard Academy for the Metal Arts is licensed by the State of Wisconsin Educational Approval Board. We also provide services and consultations for various government agencies, law enforcement, municipalities, the University of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Jeweler's Association and others.

As metal artists we take great pride in our industry and feel embarrassed by the unscrupulous business practices of some of our competitors on the national TV market. We hope to bring ethics back into a trade which has traditions going back over 2000 years. It is our goal to show a profit for our investors and pay the highest and fairest prices we can. 50% of all profits go to help support the Howard Academy for the Metal Arts. Some of the profits are donated to the HAMA Foundation Inc. We are from Stoughton, Wisconsin, not New York or Miami. We do our best to please our local and national customers with our personal service, secure shipping and fair pricing. We generally pay more than the other guys, a lot more in many cases, as we feel that if we treat people fairly and honestly they will tell their friends and neighbors about and everyone will benefit.
