Boer Architects was founded by Andrew Boer in 1988. In 1989 Paul Doperalski joined the firm as a principal and their offices relocated to downtown Milwaukee. The firm incorporated as Boer Architects, Inc in January, 1995. Starting modestly from a small office in a private residence, the company has grown steadily and now employs eight full time staff. Projects, that included small single family homes when Mr. Boer and Mr. Doperalski first started, have expanded to now include municipal, educational, commercial, industrial, healthcare and multifamily work. The firm continues to work from downtown Milwaukee as a demonstration of their commitment to the City and the surrounding urban environment.The primary purpose and guiding philosophy of Boer Architects, Inc is to assist their clients in realizing their vision for a project while solving the technical challenges imposed by changing design and construction industry standards.
