As Wisconsin s largest general farm organization, Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation represents the needs and interests of the state s farmers. Nearly 50,000 farmers representing all variety of commodities belong to the organization. Each member belongs to one of more than 60 county farm bureaus, which select voting members who meet annually to set the organization s policies regarding local, state and national affairs. In addition to legislative representation, the federal offers farm marketing and business and planning consultation, as well as insurance protection and family health care services. Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation was established in 1920 and has headquarters in Madison, Wis. It is a member of the American Farm Bureau Federation.
